The Loft board met on Thursday, March 12 to discuss how we should best deal with the spread of the Coronavirus and COVID-19. Although we want to preserve everything that makes the Loft wonderful, including our in-person events and critique groups, our primary responsibility is ensuring that our members are safe.

Effective immediately, all scheduled events, including classes, craft chats, and critique groups, are moving online temporarily. If you have registered for a paid event, you'll receive an email about how that session will be delivered. If you are part of a scheduled critique group, the critique group leader will be in touch. We will continue to support our vibrant community of writers and illustrators—we'll just handle things a little differently for a while.

The board also discussed different ways that we can add value during this time. We'll be scheduling online-only events, including write-ins, ask-me-anythings, question and answer sessions, and the like. We will keep a running list of those events on this page. We'll start to schedule those online-only events by Monday, March 16.

We'll also be sending out emails to our newsletter subscribers more frequently; those emails will contain event updates, links to online sessions, and any updates on when we'll open the physical space back up.

The Writers' Loft is located at 20 North Main St., Sherborn, Mass, 01770 (our driveway is on Cemetery Lane.) Please park in the back lot and walk up the ramp to the entry door. Once inside, make an immediate right to find our office door, #360. The Writers' Loft is accessible only via stairs.
